The final cover art for The Adventures of Beanboy is finished, and artist Dan Santat has done an amazing job. I couldn’t ask for a better cover. It has just the right style and tone to both complement the story and entice readers to pick up the book. It’s truly going to make Beanboy stand out on a bookstore or library shelf.

I was thrilled that my publisher chose Dan to do the art. Dan has illustrated picture books such as The Adventures of Nanny Piggins and Oh No!: Or How My Science Project Destroyed the World, written and illustrated picture books, chapter books, and graphic novels such as Guild of Geniuses and Sidekicks, and created the Disney Channel television show “The Replacements.”
